After his amazing presentation, I asked Tony Cotrell, the head of Forge World, if it was OK to post the photos of his presentation and he said yes. (He knew I had flown all the way from Los Angeles). The History of the Horus Heresy – A panel with Graham McNeil, Alan Bligh, Dan Abnett and Alan Merrett. The seminar focused on how the Horus Heresy story was developed and how it really was quite by accident that even got started. Chapter approved early 1988 Alan Merritt told how the first mention of the Horus Heresy happened because the Chapter Approved book because they needed to fill a spot on the page.
So I painted up a Son in the traditional yellow and blue and compared the two. I do like the classic yellow and blue scheme.
