I tryed these products years ago and wasn't impressed, but perhaps I was doing it wrong. I may have to try them again.<br>For years I've been using the "Glosscoat" method. Decals adhere best to a gloss finish. I've had great success applying 2 or 3 coats of a clear gloss to the model, either brush on just the spot where the decal is to go, or spray the whole model. When that's dry, apply the decal as normal. I usually let the decal dry over night then apply a flat finish, brush or spray. Nice tutorial.
