Project Astrates: The Beginning
It was seventeen years ago now that I first discovered Warhammer 40,000, my friend had gotten a Necromunda House Delaque boxset and an Imperial Guard Tank. Fascinated by this strange new game he was playing I went out that weekend with my meagre savings and bought a Tactical Squad, a Starter Paint set and Marneus Calgar. Fast forward ten years and I was moving 350 miles from home to begin a new life as a poor starving student, my Space Marines and my Tyranids were carefully packed up and sold off to other players.
