Golden power comb-wielding Blood Angel jokes aside, I’ve been nominated for a Stylish blogger Award by Gotthammer from the blog of titanic proportions – Collegia Titanica . Am I the only know who makes a stereotypical Italian gesture and pronounces the whole thing just like the Godfather would have if he were into giant fighting robots? Thanks, Gotthammer. It is always nice to hear something good about Wolves for the Wolf God from time to time, especially since you took your time to give props to some relatively newer and less known bloggers. Well, it appears according to Tristan and Drax that I’m a stylish blogger (thanks gents!). The Stylish Blogger Award given from one blogger to another one might say, is like a pat on the back for a good job. It’s definitely a viral, zombie-like spread of good will so it’s too good to pass up. I’ve been playing GW games for over two decades (ok, now I’m feeling old). Many years ago, I was the youngest college lecturer in the country. I don’t play nearly enough games considering the effort I put into painting models to play with. I’m married to a tattooist that keeps eyeing up my masses of uninked skin.
I’ve seen these awards circulating around the Blogsphere for the last couple of weeks so I thought there was going to be one coming my way (I got a big head like that you see) sooner or later. I am glad that Amiral Drax nominated me for it though since I have much respect for his blog and think it’s THE archetypal Guard blog (along with Corbania Prime ). At the beginning I thought the award was kinda like a chain-letter spammy thing but then again there is nothing wrong getting your blog acknowledged from fellow hobbyists. I am Greek but lived in the UK for eight years. I am married to Leah who is Korean American and also the coolest person in the world. I spend 3-4 hours on the internet everyday checking for warhammer stuff and another 1-2 hours painting. I love tattoos and I am lanning to open a tattoo shop very soon where I am going to work with my wife.
Wow was all I could think as I read an email I received from Gyro (aka Mik) from Mik’s Minis notifying me that he was giving my blog a ‘Stylish Blogger Award’. Needless to say I am gracious and humbled that a great gamer, blogger and pod-caster like Gyro thinks my little blog deserves this honor.
