All of the above is for sale; I can sell together or split. I have six Rhinos, which I have started painting Emperor’s Children. All have greenstuff mutation. Two nicely painted Vindicators in Emperor’s Children, also have greenstuff mutation. 16 x Chaos Marines painted as Iron Warriors. Mid changing them to Emperor’s Children so they have possesed bits and Kromlech fraternity shoulder pads and heads. 14 x Chaos Marines painted as Iron Warriors, some have the Kromlech fraternity shoulder pads and heads. Unpainted Heldrake with hades autocannon. Had to do a bit of greenstuff on the wings as the wings were glued on backwards.

Pair of Emperor’s Children Vindicators – just need to add legion iconography and re-do the shadow on the more pink one with red wash instead of black wash. Other than that they are done.

After his amazing presentation, I asked Tony Cotrell, the head of Forge World, if it was OK to post the photos of his presentation and he said yes. (He knew I had flown all the way from Los Angeles). I’ve always like the Emperor’s Children; it’s their funky colour scheme of purple and gold along with a spot of black, green and silver which attracts me. I also view them as the ‘true’ Chaos Space Marines – weird looking fellows with some weird ass mutations. As much as I like my Iron Warriors, I sometimes feel they are not true chaos and just mardy upset geezers who have got their hands in their arse after they couldn’t build daddy’s castle. In 5th ed I played CSM and had Iron Warriors for my CSM army. I have re-done half the army in Iron Warriors style, but I feel the models look dull and un-attractive, plus the highlights I have done look weird offset against their dull appearance. I decided to bite the bullet and during my day off (yesterday) I went in pursuit of perfection (which I still have a long away to go) and painted up some Emperor’s Children CSM and starting getting my form Blood Angel Razorbacks into shape. I am not a fan of the current E.C pink, it’s not my style and while I like the dark purple it did turn out too dark in test models. I went for genestealer purple and thrown in some white to make it a little brighter. A wash later and another coat of purple and then some emperor’s children highlights and I am pretty happy. The Rhinos have got some way to come yet and will look better when there is paint on them

I was on Ebay looking for Emperor’s Children bits when I cam across these ace Kromlech shoulder guards: These shoulder guards are only £6 for 10; bargain. Kromlech also do some E.C helmets too – I have made a swift purchase of both of them. I then came across the top pro painted image; a Heldrake, unit of Warp Talons and Raptors, which both the latter are in units of 5. Excellent paint job I'll add, really makes them stand out, but what really did stand out was the price – £650.00! Here's the eBay link if you do not believe me:

I’ve always had a boner for Emperor’s Children; they are my second favourite legion, Iron Warriors been my first 
. I think it’s the cool colour combination of purple, pink, gold and black which does it for me. Plus if you want some serious fucked up mutated Space Marines, then E.C are your boys! Add that they have loads of custom/conversion prospects too! Ok, so an E.C army really needs Noise Marines and in order to take these as troops I am going to need a Chaos Lord with mark of slaanesh, but damn that mark is expensive just for a

I’ve always liked bike armies. I think the higher toughness and speed gets my attention. In 6th bikers have got better as the additional toughness is counted as actual toughness of the model if that makes sense? So to instagib a multi wound biker you need to be using S10 weapons. The new Dark Angel codex has been out a bit and is as the option to create a cheap as chips Ravenwing army. The Ravenwing models from D.V set are pretty cheap as well. My problem is I do not like Dark Angels, I think it is the dark green, I just hate it as a colour. I have always wanted to do another purple army with some pink highlights; I think it would look wicked. So I had the idea of painting the Ravenwing purple, but if you take the angel wings on there and paint them gold you’re looking at Emperor’s Children.
