CSM Codex: Is it too late to chime in?
After all the buzz has passed beyond the CSM codex and onto newer releases, I finally convinced myself to buy the book and return to the Dark Gods.

It’s been a little over a month since I put up the poll asking what you all thought about the new Daemons codex. The results are interesting. So far it’s the lowest rated codex in 6th edition based on the … Continue reading → The post Rok Da Vote: Chaos Daemons Codex (Closed) appeared first on Creative Twilight .
This month White Dwarf is sure so tempting. Really tempting my faith in GW. Tau definitely looks so tempting and exciting. I have always wanted to collect Tau, but with so miniatures and collection on my shelves already, I guess I will just collect the Codex for now, and, or maybe when my faith is back, haha. The new White Dwarf as usual is “Picture Speaks a Thousand Words”. Well, looking at the amazing XV suits definitely makes me wanna do it for the Greater Good! haha… Well, if you are in Tau, definitely this issue will make you daze in excitement. I love the Golden Demon section when it will be my references for future projects and commission. Last of all, I think the last page of the White Dwarf definitely spawned lots of excitement and rumour! Possiblely a plastic Thunderhawk! I am thinking with the current trend of flyers GW is promoting, I am sure a Plastic Thunderhawk would definitely be a true rumour and another good reason to boost sales. Well, let’s see what will zoom in next month… cheers!
Go to ITunes to get the new Tau Codex on digital download. I am a big fan of these, as having all your books on an iPad seems to be the wave of the future and much easier than lugging books around! For the Greater Good! Loken
New rules for the Storm Raven and Storm Talon are coming up in Death from the Skies.
So rumors are flying fast and furious about the new Chaos Daemon Codex and there is already a lot of doom and gloom naysayers. I just want choices.
Simple enough; what do you think of the new Dark Angels codex? I like to run an early poll like this and then months down the road do it again to see if opinions have changed. I can say that … Continue reading → The post Rok Da Vote: New Dark Angels Codex appeared first on Creative Twilight .
This surfaced in an update made available yesterday. With a clarification to the transport rule in the digital version of Codex Necrons, it seems a new FAQ could be on the way. We can now see that units embarked in a Night Scythe that is destroyed now take no damage. This change appeared yesterday, but has yet to work it’s way to the FAQ. Keep an eye out for updates, soon. Despite being Mr. Mom this weekend, I managed to get to my LGS before lunch, and pick up my advance order. It is going to take a long time to digest the codex changes. It is such a reduction in … Continue reading → The post Dark Angels – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly appeared first on Creative Twilight .
Firstly, as you may have noticed, the blog has a slightly different look to before. Most obvious is the new banner which I’ve been meaning to change for a while. It’s certainly still a bit amateurish but I’m fairly happy with it and it least it points out that this blog isn’t purely about Space Wolves anymore. The blog is also a bit wider to incorporate a second side bar. Anyway, despite literally just saying that this isn’t a purely SW blog anymore I want to talk about them today. In the comments section for my battle against Jamie, Sentinel asked for my thoughts on the state of the Space Wolves army in 6th edition so that’s what I’ll talk about here. Before I do though I’d like to mention that Sentinel has his own blog here (it’s also in the Recommend Reading on the right) and also give a bit of a shout to Dominic and his Dark Angels blog (which will be my New Year New Army project – more to come). State of Play at the End of 5th Edition After a period of being one of the strongest books out there the Space Wolves started to see a bit of a decline in popularity towards the end of 5th edition.
