First game with High Elves this week so heres my list

One of the things I'm struggling with in terms of the new book is how to make best use of the Loremaster & the other magic options.
Another night where rather than get some work done I decide to make another collection of lists from the new High Elf book, which by the way gets better everytime you read it.
As would be expected I've spent a lot of time since Wednesday coming up with new High Elf army lists from the new book all with the intent of re-creating my 2400pt Tournament list to make best use of the new toys.
Two weeks until the NZ WHFB Team Champs and my team mates and I are fairly settled on what we are taking, although the Dwarf list is still taking shape.

The field for this weekends Horned Gobbo Tournament in Wellington is one of the biggest for one of Pete Dunns events for a few years with 30 players confirmed.
Had a very enjoyable game against Glen Burfields Vampire Counts this morning, my first against the new VC book. He was using what he termed a Screaming List (view it here) very nasty especially with the new rules vastly improving the ability to raise dead, and the small but important tweaks to some of the army rules.
Just fired off the email with my final 2000pt High Elf army list to Pete Dunn this morning. I’ve spent a fair few hours now tinkering with it and considering various options but have decided to go with my gut and keep the original, or near, original look. Final submitted list is: Archmage Level 4 w. Dispel Scroll, Talisman of Preservation, Lore of Life Battle Standard Bearer w. GW, Armour of Caledor, Guardian Phoenix Spears x33 w. Full Command, Banner of Eternal Flame Archers x14 w. Musician Archers x10 w. Musician White Lions x21 w. Full Command Phoenix Guard x18 w. Full Command, Razor Standard Dragon Princes x5 w
