From the Fang , a great little blog, has info from the Spanish version of the Tau Codex. If you want to have a look yourself they should still be visible here Crisis Suits Appear to cost 22pts each now but can still only be taken in units of 3. No longer have the option of making them a team leader but rather you now just pay 10 pts to make them a Shas’vre. Makes sense to me as hardly anyone bothered to pay the extra 5 for shas’vre status. Shas’vre now boosts them to Ld 9 but loses 1pt of WS (I think we’ll cope). Otherwise the stats are the same, no toughness boost like some rumours suggested. Get army wide special rule Supporting Fire which is the ranged overwatch assistance thing. Also they’re “Very Bulky” although it sounds better in Spanish (muy corpulento!).
This month White Dwarf is sure so tempting. Really tempting my faith in GW. Tau definitely looks so tempting and exciting. I have always wanted to collect Tau, but with so miniatures and collection on my shelves already, I guess I will just collect the Codex for now, and, or maybe when my faith is back, haha. The new White Dwarf as usual is “Picture Speaks a Thousand Words”. Well, looking at the amazing XV suits definitely makes me wanna do it for the Greater Good! haha… Well, if you are in Tau, definitely this issue will make you daze in excitement. I love the Golden Demon section when it will be my references for future projects and commission. Last of all, I think the last page of the White Dwarf definitely spawned lots of excitement and rumour! Possiblely a plastic Thunderhawk! I am thinking with the current trend of flyers GW is promoting, I am sure a Plastic Thunderhawk would definitely be a true rumour and another good reason to boost sales. Well, let’s see what will zoom in next month… cheers!
I know that's a weird title and might be slightly mis-leading, so apologies in advance. When I say back to 5th ed I mean my 5th ed CSM list:
After having wrapped up my Greater Daemon of Slaanesh it’s time to get back to building. Right now I’m working on getting 5 Chaos Marines together and 5 Chosen. I’ve been proxying them but there’s no need to since I … Continue reading →
Hey guys, So first off, I’d like to thank the guys over at Santa Cruz Warhammer and Miniature Wargame Conversions for the inclusion on their Honor Roll. I’m glad to get such kind words on a project I wasn’t sure would turn out well. Now, for my piece de resistance! This has to be my best personal piece I’ve done in a while, if not ever. Not a lot of time to get him to the state he’s at, but I’m super happy with him, and he should be a fun addition to my Alpha Legion army. The glowing effect on the hand may need some touchups… I feel like I’ll have to do this model again at some point. Definitely my favorite sculpt GW’s put out in quite some time. May have to do that new Nurgle Champion at some point too…decisions… Next up on the painting block! Its primed/basecoated, and now ready for details! The cockpit needs to be primed, come to think of it… For the Greater Good! Granesh
