BoLS, Faeit212 Takedown, an Attorney's Perspective
So what is the legal fallout from the Faeit212 take-down?

Well, no sense standing on ceremony, watch this: So I’ve seen a few blogs mention the Kickstarter that Secret Weapon Miniatures recently launched, Tablescapes. For these not in the know, SWM is releasing a series of 1′x1′ tiles, modeled to some extent with existing terrain, and accompanied with terrain pieces to go with it. This is exciting if only for the existence of more quality and affordable terrain. That said, the prices aren’t astounding. The wall set at $150 is overpriced, and to be honest the destroyed tanks don’t look quite good enough for me to choose them over plasticard tanks sliced to bits. Even still, I may nab some of the terrain eventually, for example if my FLGS happens to get some (they were a backer of Dreadball after all)
Forge World has released images from the upcoming Imperial Armour 12 The Fall of Orppheus. Always great books, with new units, formations and models, the new book features Necrons.
I’m coming a little late to the party here I know. The images for the new Warriors of Chaos book and models started appearing yesterday and since then have been all over the net. No doubt you’ve all seen the images of the various new kits. If not, you can see them here . There’s an avalanche of new kits as well as the new army book, all the more surprising as the general wisdom was expecting a new dual warhammer/40k daemon release in February, and here comes the Warriors of Chaos all up in our face with new kits by the bucket load. Most interesting to me of the existing units getting new models are the new dragon ogres and forsaken, both of which one never sees on the table. Are we looking at new rules? I sure hope so, because right now dragon ogres are shining the shoes of the skullcrushers. As for forsaken, never was a unit better named. Let’s hope they get the love, as the forsaken kit looks pretty interesting.
Now that I’m through reviewing the codex from a Death Guard perspective, I’m going to start going into the process of developing your list. We will talk fluff and background and actual list building in the near future, but with this post I wanted to start my mental wheels turning when it comes to an icon for my warband. From a design standpoint, there are a few major choices with Death Guard (clean or dirty, brown or green (or dirty but vaguely pre-heresy), specific shade used etc. These are important for how your models look on the board, your personal painting aptitude, etc. I will be sharing some painting tutorials in the near future on that front. If you look at the door on my Land Raider Proteus (best ebay find of last year, hands down), you will see I have begun painting a very basic Death Guard logo onto my door. This is mostly because I haven't been able to decide what to put in its place. Looking at the Death Guard iconography I could find online, I know that 3 is used (overused?) substantially, specifically 3 circles and a 3 point star. There are some clever riffs on the circles (adding icons within each or making the circles into drops of gore) or on the star (making it look like tentacles), or the fly icon that has a few variations.
I got a e-mail recently asking how I made I.D successful. I thought I would share the below e-mail with fellow bloggers, I’d also added in a few things since the e-mail to
. On a further note, I’ll be making this a sticky post for sometime and will have a direct link to this post some where easily accessible on the site. Blogging, it’s a tough old game I am not going to lie, having running a blog takes time, effort and patience. It will take time to get noticed and stand out from the crowd, but in time, with effort, you will get there. Keep that in mind and solider on, then you will get some where. Name in neon lights Before you start pimping your name out, you want a spiffing looking blog. Not only do you want people to come to your blog, but you want to give them another reason to stay besides the excellent content.

Imperial Armour Volume 11: The Doom of Mymeara is the latest narrative expansion by Forge World for Warhammer 40k.
Warhammer Forge’s Monstrous Arcanum is out on the 10th of April. I’ve been looking forward to this book for some time, and there are 32 new monsters in here. It’s a 113 page, full-colour hardback book, and the images of the inside look every bit as sumptuous as Tamurkhan, so I’ll be snagging a copy as soon as possible. The new fimir warriors are in there too, I’ll be interested to see if their rules have altered much from the experimental rules already published. The one paragraph that has me very interested is this: These are not limited to just Storm of Magic games, however, as the book contains nine scenarios and special rules to allow these deadly creatures to be fielded in regular Warhammer battles, and a helpful appendix chart to allow you to theme your monsters to your army.
