Ronin and Mercenary

This is third and last article about one of my Malifaux Crews, with which I managed to take the first place on Malifaux tournament held in my local club. There were two articles before this one about Victorias and Convict Gunslinger. They are the “essence” of my Crew, but they can’t work without help. Rules of tournament stated that we played with 28 soulstones, so I had to find something that would work well with Victorias. And that is when I decided to take Ronin. And they appeared to be great in combination with Victorias. As one Ronin costs 5 soulstones, I took three of them and one Gunslinger, and was left with 8 soulstones. As Victoria doesn’t have any soulstone cache I had to left few for game, and that is when I figured why not to take the Desperate Mercenary, leaving me 6 soulstones in pool for game. Great thing about Ronin is that that they are very fast and agile, able to run across the tabletop without any penalties and such
