I cannot believe I forgot to post this, it has been sitting as a draft for a couple of months. Sometimes I would lose my head if it were not attached. lol Here are 10 cowboy miniatures I painted for Carl from the Independent Characters. I am really pleased with the way the turned out. They are Black Scorpion miniatures and were a joy to paint!

Well it’s been an… interesting week, and a significant unexpected expense has got me scrambling to come up with some extra funds. Unfortunately, what this mean is a number of miniatures and whatnot are having to go up on the auction block much earlier than planned. Not what I’d hoped to be doing with them, but needs must when the IRS devil drives I suppose… Link to current auctions Mostly World Eaters at the moment, plus the Iron Hands bikers, the Warhound Titan and a replica Bolt Pistol. There will likely be more going up over the next couple weeks while I dredge through the Closet of Doom for other odds and bobs that I can bear to part with… …Argh.

Been having up and downs, with work and life as it is. Have not really been able to find the drive to sit down and post. Besides being busy with life and work and such, I am still reading the news and following the hype of the miniature world happenings. Past days, been pushing myself hard to get some miniatures painted, almost there. Just as I was wondering what to paint next, managed to receive some commission project which I am really excited to paint. So, stay tuned. There have been lots of rumours here and there about the new 40k edition. After reading the rumours, I am sort of disappointed with the idea that GW is steering 40k toward the likeness of Fantasy warhammer. Along with all the randomness new rules and hype in Warhammer or upcoming 40k, just felt that things are getting too random, which make strategy play kind of useless in the games

Victory for the forces of the Omnissiah – as of this moment, the 3000 point army I’m intending to use in an upcoming battle is now complete! The last unit to be finished was the second of two Legio Cybernetica Robot Maniples. The second maniple includes one each of the five original Robots released way back in the day. From left to right: Crusader, Conqueror, Colossus, Castellan and Cataphract. I wanted to paint them up in a different motif from the first maniple, and went with a blue/grey scheme with yellow panels on the right thigh and left shoulder. I was going to go with yellow and black hazard stripes, but they ended up looking poor so they were taken back to a solid yellow instead. The first maniple I’d painted a while back got a few touch-ups to bring them in line with the new ones (notably the color of the visors/power cables), and was re-based from the old grey rubble to the new dirt and grass motif. It occurred to me while doing so that there are a few odd models in the army that will also require the re-basing treatment, but thankfully it’s less than a dozen all told. Once I get them all re-based, I’ll pull out all the miniatures and get a full army shot!
