Let me start by saying I’m not a Daemon player and frankly I have no interest in becoming one. That being said Matt (who’s one of my regular opponents) has a fairly sizeable Daemon army which he either uses on its own or bolstered by CSM or IG. This means I’m likely to be facing these new models at some point and there’ll certainly be at tournaments. The New Models I’ve never been a huge fan of the Daemons models in the first place as I feel that they’re limited by the fact that they need to be able to sit comfortably in both a WH40K and WHFB army. Personally I think that they fail on the first count. They’re great models for Fantasy but they just always look out of place in 40K to me. I think the only model that doesn’t have this problem is the soul grinder and some of the daemon prince variants. Now don’t get me wrong, I understand that these are beings that are supposed to have been around since time began. However, it’s a shame they don’t look like warped versions of things from the 40K universe.

For those who don’t reside in the US, Ard Boyz is a free,nationwide tournament that is 2500 points, with entrance level tournaments all across the country and semi-finals/finals in preset locations. Anywho, to cut to the chase, I have four armies, each of which I have made a list for. This is for my Crons(i just 10k of them in various trades!) Six Canoptek Wraiths done. I’ve kept them simple and done ironbreaker twice and agrathax shade twice. I then did the OSL and green etc. I may highlight them, but not sure. Will do basing when I’ve done the other unit and picked up some rhinox shade.

This surfaced in an update made available yesterday. With a clarification to the transport rule in the digital version of Codex Necrons, it seems a new FAQ could be on the way. We can now see that units embarked in a Night Scythe that is destroyed now take no damage. This change appeared yesterday, but has yet to work it’s way to the FAQ. Keep an eye out for updates, soon. At the Vinn Inn Gamers last night, played against Dale. He runs Necrons with many flyers and is known as some evil overlord or something. The Armylist is down below, if you don’t want to see the models. As you can see the Immortal is actually old classic metal model with Gauss Blaster from new plastic boxed set. Since I already had 10 metal ones, when I bought 2 packs of plastic Immortals/Deathmarks I decided that I will make Crypteks and Deathmarks from these 2 sets and provide my metal Immortals with new nice Gauss Blasters. Crytek (Harbinger of Destruction with Solar Pulse) and some markers.
