Kingdom Death Kickstarter launch today Fri 23 Nov 2012. While I was working today, got the mail from Kingdom Death regarding the Kickstarter. I nearly forgotten all about it, blame it on work, haha. Click on the link and check it out. Hoooo… Its simply amazing, and WOW the goal amount was nearly at its goal, missing only by a few thousand. By the time I read about the details, and which pledge level I would wanna go for, the goal was achieved already. Wow… $35k goal all pledged in a span of 1.5 hours just after its launch! WOW again! As I post this post, its already at 60k with its 55k stretch goal bonus achieved! I am guessing this kickstarter will definitely be a sky-high record (there is still 45 days to go!!!), maybe surpassing Relic Knights and Sedition War…. WOW!! Be sure to check the Kickstarter here ! Been taking thing slow after my commissioned projects. Sorting out leftover work and been painting little bitz here and there also. Saw this video preview for Secret Weapon new May release, I am excited. Was thinking of getting some weathering powder, but after I saw the May release, think I will wait for the May release to save the shipping. There are awesome new bases in the release. The ones with the skull are cool, and the corpses field base are more awesome! Of recent I have been sort of interested in 120mm bases as well. Thinking its a good base for a small diorama for some of my projects. The things that got me all excited are the tree stump, the fallen leaves and the bricks.

Long time ago I wrote an article about Sid Meier’s Civilization: The Board Game. It has to be one of my favorite games. I feel like I have not explained this game properly, but there is no time as expansion is on the way. Once that expansion is released I will explain the entire game in detail using new rules and nations. However, while we wait for that expansion to be released we can imagine what it will be like. Box cover Civilization can be played in many different ways, depending on what kind of victory you are chasing. I have to admit that after playing this game for so long there always turns out to be something new and unpredictable. Civilization uses a set of map tiles that are randomly set at the beginning of the game and they are set face down. These face down map tiles represent fog of war, and only if you explore these tiles you may turn them upside down.

Like in all the other things, each of us is used to do same things differently. That also applies for playing games. When it comes to games it is very important that you have a strategy or at least the idea of what your goal is. By goal I don’t mean that you are not familiar with the objective of your game, but rather that you should have an idea of how you can achieve that goal. It is very important to have an objective. This works for all tabletop games as well as all board games and so on. Before we move to different strategies it is very important to realize what kind of player are you. Are you a passive or aggressive player? Are you always playing safe or are you prone to taking risks?

The prophecy for Grey Knights are becoming clearer and clearer. Over the pass months, there have been lots of analysis and speculation for the Grey Knights. Among the whole rumours and information, some fans have even assemble an army list of the fore-coming Grey Knights basing on all the rumoured information. Bell of lost Souls have a list of all the post of all the rumours and exciting news here . The other good news, there is rumour that the Grey Knights will be previewed on 25 March, and hitting the stores around early April. So somewhere in the middle of March, or earlier we are most likely to have the Grey Knights stuff on advance order or so… Cool… its getting so exciting. Check out Faeit 212 and Grey Knights by Xethik mention of the rumours… As for the rules and details of the Grey Knights, as usual, I prefer to surprise myself with the Codex in hand when it is released. I am more concern about the miniatures range though. Did some planning and thinking to plan for what possible miniatures to get. I will definitely get the new plastic Grey Knights and Terminators to add on to my collection.
