The Road to Blog Wars 5: Setting Off

This year Blog Wars is going to be epic! At least for me it will be. I’m sat at Victoria Coach Station waiting for the 1.00am coach to Manchester. What lies ahead is an all-day adventure, and when I say all day I mean all day and a bit, I expect to get home about 6.30 Sunday morning. The things we do eh? I’ll be posting pictures and updates during the event if possible. For now, here’s the list I’m taking. Ethereal Ion tide Ion tide 12 Fire warriors 12 Fire warriors 11 Fire warriors 6 Fire warriors in a Devilfish 10 pathfinders 4 piranhas Hammerhead Hammerhead with Longstrike 2 missile sides Skyshield Landing Pad The plan is to put either the infantry or the armour on the landing pad depending on the mission and what my opponent is best equipped to deal with in my army. The goal is to enjoy myself, meet some fellow bloggers and avoid the wooden spoon. Shouldn’t be too tough! Now, how does 6th edition go?
