The basics of the Online Wargame
In order to sign up, you will have to provide a name and valid email address. The administration respects your privacy, and your e-mail will not be public unless you allow it. Your name will NEVER be public. If you do feel uncomfortable providing your real name over the internet, you may provide an alias. However, you must remember it. A valid email is a must - you will receive your password there. Your username will also not be visible. Choose something that you're sure you'll remember - there is no way to recover it!
Next, choose a Warband Name. We strongly suggest you choose something with a modicum of creativity. For example, "The Empire of Daru" instead of "j0ker31337". The Warband name is completely superficial, but a creative name will tend to earn you more respect. Follow the same general rule with your In-Game Name - think of it as the name of your lead general or ruler. "Empress Maude" is far superior to "omg1".
The most important part of signing up is choosing your army/race. Simply put, it will set the course for the life of your account. You need to select it based on your playing style - you can read more about different strategies in another section.
Different locations will supply different bonuses.
