Homemade CoD Stratagems - Tank Traps

This is my first “Show and Tell” here on LO, I’d love to hear feedback. Now that my friends and I have played a few games with the new CoD rules, I figured it was time for some new scenery to represent the various stratagems. Make your own foam cutter

Today I made my own hot wire cutter or foam cutter. Its not very nice to look at, but it was pretty easy to make. All I needed to buy was a guitar wire (nickel chrome), the rest was allready here. By searching google you will find lots of ways to make one, but Im gonna try and make this as easy as possible.

A Snow Base

Using Cork as a basing option

This tutorial will follow a series of photo’s I took while putting together my Archaon on Foot model and will eventually host a link to other cork basing ideas as well. For the time invested I would surely say that this method beats using modeling clay or epoxy putty or other common methods to create a rocky texture.
