I'm not knocking the current codex for its viability. I think that the codex is fine as a "renegades" codex. I wanted to play traitor legions when I got into chaos.
I wanted to play something completely different from loyalist MEQs.
Right now, 90% of the powerful builds are revolving around rhino delivery, which
is exactly what I play for space wolves. I'm not saying I won't get back into chaos, my boys
are waiting to be dusted off. But right now, I'm really dissapointed that they didn't
preserve the very concept for which I built my army around.
I was and am completely enamored with the concept of my alpha legion ambush fighters.
