Raidoactivejack, the prince looks perty good. A couple of suggestions:

1- As a general note, the entire model could use a little more shading and highlighting. It looks a little flat, not much...just a tincy bit. Even if you're inexperienced with these techniques (as mentioned in your post), it's not too difficult to begin the process. After all, you've already demonstrated in this model that you know about shading and highlighting. I would take it one more step and add a little more shading to the putrid green sash and the skin-grafted arm band. The brown armor could use a little more highlighting or shading, though I'm not exactly sure which at the moment. You have to be careful doing too much highlighting on a Nurgle model, as it can sometimes detract from the overall disgust. Here's what I'd do: Go ahead and highlight any particular parts of the model that are bordering on being a little too flat. If you end up with a finished product that's too light, simply go over those desired areas with the appropriate wash or wash blend. I generally prefer diluting my washes for this purpose by at last a 1:3 ratio (wash/water). This allows you to brush multiple layers of the wash and creates more gradation in the color. Make sense so far? By the way, the bone parts look fine as they are.

Skin: I'm envious of the quality of his skin. It's probably the best thing about the model. However, as a Nurgle player, I have a personal affinity for less 'pink' in my models' skin tone. It helps create the illusion of a sickly infested being with all manner of contagion and pestilence. Of course, skin isn't my strong suit, so I can't really comment on how to make it less pink, other than to say that you might try an extremely diluted brown/gray wash 1:5 (wash/water). Again, the more diluted the paint/wash, the more forgiving it tends to be, as it dries slower and more importantly, the steps between each wash are smaller, if that makes sense.

Speaking of skin, it looks like some of the connecting points where the skin meets metal could use a slight touch up.

Best of luck.
