How about everyone just say something like:

"Hi, I'm Jaffar. I like long walks on the beach, but I prefer 40k. I play Imperial Fists, but I love anything that is well converted. I know yellow is a pain, so a techmarine or librarian would be cool (since I have neither). Sometimes I like to get really crazy, and make non-power armored units. If it's well converted, I'll love it."
Ha ha... Yeah - personally I don't really care what method is used. When Kuffy mentioned finding out what your "person" wanted rather than painting something random I was thinking of an even simpler way of meeting those goals...

Personally I like the idea of the person getting what they get. Simply from the perspective of an "art" perspective rather than a "game" perspective. Your "person" is more likely to put forth the very best effort in creating something that they like.

It's all good!

Cheers,

-Mike
