The wings are "Dark Pegasus Wings" which I believe are from the Fantasy Dark Elves set (not sure because I just ordered the bitz). Obviously you can't bitz now from GW, but outside of other third party vendors, I've heard that they plan on releasing some "bitz packs" for wings in the next month or so.

I have enough parts to make the other half of the monolith. I don't have that large curved piece at the top (because I used it in this terrain piece) However, I essentially have the other half to make a similar terrain. I haven't figured out if I want it for a city or grassy terrain board.

I have to give thanks to the fellow Necron player, Alex who graciously allowed me make the terrain piece. Giving up an expensive model (even if it looked like it was built hastily) is a big deal. And seeing a destroyed Monolith terrain piece isn't as common as seeing a destroyed tank.

In regards to the Vindicator, to be honest, I just wanted to put it up there to give everyone a feel for the size and stability of the piece. I'm going to say that in this situation the terrain piece was probably within the deployment zone of the Vindicator and was deployed there. What should amaze all of us is how 3 Winged Warriors managed to survive long enough to attack the Vindicator?
