I could easily GIMP the badges, check out my photobucket for some of my work (assaultmaster). I've made site banners and numerous sigs. (although, I'm hoping the badges will be implemented like user groups, i.e. under the avatar)
I'll go ahead and get started on the conceptual badges, just give me the green light (and preferred size) and I'll start actually making them.
What I was thinking about was making the titles have a roman numeral (1-10 for the rank) and then the icon. Like "IV Tau", etc.
