Very impressive. I'll be honest, i was sceptical when I read the thread title and saw you were making it out of a space marine. If you wanted to go with a very gundam-esque army, I would reccomend tau...lots of possibilities for giant battle suits.
one comment on the flames: you have made the same mistake millions of painters before you have made...fire burns brightest at the base. The lighter oranges, yellows, and whites should be at the center of the flame, with the darker portions edging the gout.
