I also still think that a huge factor is the relative costs. I just got done putting together some 2k lists, and after replacing all the marks of nurgle with marks of slaanesh. I had enough points left for a tricked out unit of Chaos Warriors.

I guess another problem I have is that I like to have armies that follow primarily one god. So I want to have as little mixing as possible. Having Nurgle characters leading a slaaneshi warhost just doesn't do it for me.

As a side question, the mark of nurgle and warshrine was brought up. Wouldn't the Mark of Tzeentch be just as good or better? A 3+ ward save is huge in my book.
