you don't have to play warhammer, take up chess! then paint your rooks, pawns, queens and other stuff...

my brother is a low roller and when I still lived at home he would always hate playing against me as 90% of the time I would win (60% my supreme tactics, 30% his bad luck, 10% I felt sorry and lost on purpose...)

If you truly are a low roller, then a different army/style of play won't help you. In our game you cannot kill without rolling a dice (highly most of the time).
