Well I use about 2 in my army, the lore my first wizard is from is light my second is metal. The wizard of light does wonders against Chaos army cause of there high WS.
I usually put them behind my lines so that they don't get shot at or anything. I load my wizards up with dispel scrolls! I never but these guys in battle cause they really aren't that good at fighting.
