I do like using background from the Black Library and 40k Rulebook.

Case in point they have found a world which had a giant Computer using humans as a power source. What's stopping another world similar to it from existing?

Worlds with the humans mutated to have wings or gills.

How about a Deathworld with humans possessing external weaponry; bony spurs on their wrists a'la Nietzscheans? [should be interesting to have troops from this place.. :lol: ]

Another an advance race of Octopoid superior in technology to the Imperium.

Amalathian belief perhaps?

What's stopping a world in the millions in tha galaxy with a working STC?

There was a story already of a world with monks being caretakers to a working STC in a Black Library book I read years ago. Unfortunately another story involved Squats as well.

I suppose more Istvaanian than Amalathian.

I do not see a conflict with the existence of a fledgling Star Kingdom somewhere in the unexplored reaches of the Galaxy.

A race of humans with a level of scientific knowledge on a par with the Tau?

More converts for the Ecclesiarchy after all.
