Blood,Guts and Chaos Slime
How to create it!

SUGAR! Wonderful sugar. I’ve been experimenting with this wonderful stuff since I had a great effect with using it as snow. And now I’ve found it makes a vital ingredient for effective looking Blood & Guts or/and Chaos slime (you know the stuff you see all around you in fire warrior for example).

I came about mixing clear pva glue with citadel paint to make a water effect....but that diden’t turn out the way I was hoping. Mainly because I used the colours Dark Angels Green and Enchanted Blue, which looked crap. For some reason then I decided to see what would happen if I mix some sugar in it. NURGLE PUKE! Thats all I could think of, when I looked at it, and then it hit me in the face.....hmmmm...I did the same thing only using Red Gore and a small dab of Chaos black....very nice indeed! To make it the right texture you need enough sugar that you can see the black little dots that it has created but not too much that it dosen’t melt in. When you place it on the base use an old brush because this will damage it. Depending what your going for I suggest you slap it down in large bumpy amounts for chaos slime or just a tiny amount to get those strangely intestines and meat chunks for blood and guts. Practice on normal papur first so you can discover for yourself how you would like it to look. For chaos slime it looks really good if you have tiny bits almost dripping off from the base, it also looks effective if you pull it thinly so you can create a strand that hang’s onto the model’s leg or whatever, giving it a alive effect.

I will tell you one thing now however this stuff espeacially in large amounts takes ages to dry....but its worth it. I have used it on the bases and certain skulls of my SOB, Order of our Martyred Lady models who now with the cobled paving/snow/blood & guts aswell as chaos spawn (coulden’t help adding some chaos spawn, I’ll just say they fight in chaos infested areas) they look totally evil, dark and disgusting. This stuff is guaranteed to pull some eyes towards your models and may even sicken some of the weaker stomach players.

Very effective! Nice and disgusting! Perfect!

Please tell me what results you’ve got through trying this, if you’ve done somthing similar or just what you think.
