| The Beliefs of the Tremainus System
Ok, there be the next installment. ^.^ It should be a two parter, as you'll be able to tell by the contents list I'm about to put in the first post. The Beliefs of the Tremainus System
During the Age of Strife, the planets of the Tremainus System were cut off from all contacts with Terra, as well as the surrounding systems.
Most of the planets within the system, despite losing contact with the rest of the Galaxy, continued to function rather well to start of with.
It was about this time, however that the appearances of what would become known as The Six Fox Gods. Or the Rav'en Guden began.
At first, many people had no idea what they were, and many tended to ignore them or disbelieve the stories of sightings, until a small cult of sorts began to promote their beliefs and findings.
Each planet of the System, (As well as a few outside of It.) seemed to have at least one temple, which seemed to be dedicated to telling the story of these gods.
However, the puzzling thing, even to most of the preachers, what that though the gods were named the Six Fox Gods there was always many references to that of a seventh. Den Harr'Fauren.
But there was never enough information on the seventh god. He was nameless other than Den Harr'Fauren.
Though there were many, faint and poor images of the Harr'Fauren, there was only one that was of great quality, as well as it being the only one to feature all seven gods together.
The image could be found in every temple, and depicted a man of long hair in beautiful, golden armour; sitting at a throne, with six foxes either sitting or standing about him.
However, despite the cult's best efforts, many people still disbelieved the stories, and continued on with their lives.
Their technology had served them well up to now; the people had no need for simple beliefs.
That was until sometime in the early years of M.27.
By now, the planets of the Tremainus System had made contact with each other, as well as a few of worlds outside the system.
Shipping and transport was slow however, but there was still contact between most of the local worlds.
It is uncertain when exactly, but at some point, the main planets of the Tremainus System began to lose contact with the outside planets, one by one.
Survivors and refugees fleeing into the Tremainus System reported that their worlds had fallen to a green skinned menace. Some referred to them as 'Orks'.
The worlds of the system began to ready troops, and enlist men and women into service of their worlds, as well as their system.
Training was rushed, but at a decent standard. Equipment was good, and in supply.
Each planet readied its defences and waited.
Nothing happened.
After almost four years of combat readiness. No attack from this green skinned threat had come. Slowly, one by one, the outer worlds began to unready their forces.
It was then, that the world of Sen'd Lupe was attacked without warning. Most of its cities were burned to the ground, its resources taken.
This outrage rallied all the planets to rush to the aid of Sen'd Lupe, and re take it, but nothing could prepare the allied forces, who had only seen combat in fighting each other and minor space pirates, for what they were about to face.
Even with all the worlds backing the push to retake the planet, it hadn't started well.
On the first day of battle, many men and women would report sightings of a jet black fox, though they would never live to find its meaning. (For more Imformation, read: Battles in the Tremainus System: Pre Imperium.)
After almost four months of solid fighting, and plenty of battles which only seemed to result in further stand off, the Orks made three large pushes at the three remaining cities of Sen'd Lupe.
It looked grim after two days of harsh fighting, but as the Orks looked certain to win, something happened, which at the time no one could explain. Almost all of the men and women fighting that day, as well as many normal civilians who had survived and refused to leave their homes, would report seeing a fox of a dark red-orange colour, and a tail of flame.
Many would report that upon seeing this creature, they were filled with a mighty sense of courage and bravery. They would feel rejuvenated and would gain a high level of will, in which to fight back the menace that had invaded their home.
Needless to say the Ork push failed, and within three months, the people of the Tremainus System had re-taken full control of Sen'd Lupe.
It was only after this however, that the Cult of the Rav'en Guden reappeared in some force. Monks and preachers, upon hearing of the reports of people seeing what could only be the Fox god of War, Tiwal, went back to promoting their beliefs with a passionate zeal.
This time however, more and more people began to believe. How else could they explain the sightings. Within years, the system had a religion, despite some refusing to believe. However, as the many years passed, the religion slowly grew stronger, and the thoughts of many of the disbelievers fell behind, into the dust that was the past.
