I've been reading the Fluff Competition Threads on B&C for a while now, and I find them to be very useful for a number of reasons:
1. Answers to some of the more ... esoteric ... aspects of the 40k Universe.
2. They tend to concentrate the fluff-junkies in one place, which makes it easier to find someone with both the knowledge and temperament to answer a question you have, rather than just posting, and hoping that you get some useful responses.
3. A fair bit of more useful fluff gets thrown in as asides, which I have generally found as an inspiration to find out more about a particular event.
4. They tend to be fun.
So, I'd like to start one up here on LO.
There are some basic rules:
1. One question at a time.
2. Whoever gets the current question right, poses the next question.
3. This is meant to be a thread based on testing. Try to make them tricky, but still doable.
4. Official GW fluff only folks, there are too many variations in the other. I am of two minds about the Black Library books, but I'll leave them in for now.
Okay. First Question:
"What was the name of the ex Con-man who founded Chaos Covens on Khai-Zhan?"
