    Okay Here's my 1500 point Daemonhunters list. Look in the Daemonhunters forum for the rules for my special character. I'd like to hear what people think.

    HQ
    Grand Master Darius =355

    Elites
    Grey Knight terminator squad of 9 w/ incinerator and Brother-Captain=490

    Troops
    Grey Knights x 10 w/justicar w/refractor field =290

    Grey Knights x6 and 2 incinerators w/justicar=195

    Heavy Support
    Land Raider w/storm bolter =260

    TOTAL = 1590

    I dont play DH but your army lists sounds good to me, but shouldnt you have acolytes dudes?

    A 3-man terminator squad? I've move one of the bodyguard over to this squad.

    Solid choice for heavy support, but it is expensive for a 1500 point battle.


    The only problem you are going to have is a severe lack of firepower besides the LR. With so many terminators (plus the land raider) you dont have a lot of people or units taking shots. That's not to say it's a bad army, as there's only so much you can do with low-point armies of GK. Personally, as much as I love GK terminators, I found that regular GK are almost as good being S6 and all having 2 A (from True Grit) plus having storm bolters (same as the termies, just lacking the saves and the power weapons). I tend to try to field 3 squads of normal GK at least. But, your list should work fine.

    mmk, this list has to few pricey units, if you lose just one squad of anything, its a huge blow to your army. If you play a gaurd army whose battle cannons and heavy weapons will just eat up your army in just a few turns. You play an army such as tyranids, who are supperior in cc and also in numbers, you would just get run over. The only thing is choas, but if you play a chaos army who feels like standing and shooting, you mind as well grab your ankels, cause ur surely gona take it in the ass.

    Well this list is designed to fight my friends Khorne army, I used a very similar set up and mopped the floor with him, and that was with a normal grandmaster.

    its good that it beat your friends khorne army but a list should be written take on any army it comes across. this can be a difficult task but the only way to do it is play against alot of armys and see how it fares.

    i would also get rid of the refactor field on your justicare its just nor worth it. id also recommend taking some inquisitorial stormtroopers. there cheap and they can add some real fire power even if they only have hellguns (there just weak bolters.)

    I got some stormtroopers, but I do think it's worth 15 points to protect a 50 point model.

    no teleport squads??? wow... first thing forget wargear&#33; give your lord a master craft NFW but thats it. Also holocaust is really good vs anything but marines. id take a lord with no retinue. 5 termis 2 squads of 6 storm troops with plasma or nade launshers and rino&#39;s . 18 teleport marines all justicars have holocaust and all squads have teleport homers should be about 1500 dont bother with a raider if you need heavy go dread.
