Hmmm..... As a tyranid player, an army with alot of troops counter my horde and ordanace weapons... so an imperial guard army would be difficult however Ive been lucky and never faced one! but I would like too... I have to say that when Ive fought orks they have possessed a tough challenge to beat, as they counter my hording tactics and my ork opponent has a looted Leman Russ In fact any army can be a tough one, depending on how good the oponent is (or lucky! )

its a bit of an irrelevant question, since all armies can be hard for any army to take down... However, i play tyranids, and i normally struggle against Necrons, since i dont have alot of str8+ weapons to instant kill the buggers... I also got an Iron Warrior army, and they struggle against fast H2H armies. Because then my LOS with my tanks and Lascannons is blocked... |

I find SM armies to be hard because you never know what your gonna get ( assault or shooty or both ). All there weakness can be easily fixed, and one tac squad can hold its own against anything ( almost ).

A good Eldar player. Always frustrating, as the Eldar units are so damn good at their chosen roles. Of course, when you can get them out of these roles, their toast, but thats where the skill of the other player comes into effect.

so far, horde armies have given me the most problems. However, depending on the layout of the board and terrain, i do believe that uber-shooty armies like tau and iron warriors could potentially be lethal to me (i play DE)
