its not a bad list, i really like the mobiliy of your army. The only thing i would maybe change would be the 3 drone squads. Now those cant take out any tanks, or even transports for that matter, so you would be going after troops. But then also that is what your fire warriors are going after, so im thinking if there nessesary? maybe going for a hammerhead tank, that can go after tanks and transports as well as troops with its ordanince? What u think?

Thanks for the comment, mobility is what i am going for. The reason i haven't taken a hammerhead is that it never seems to earn the massive points it requires. If I'm lucky and the enemy only scores glancing hits, it will not shoot for the next turn. I find that the hammerhead is either destroyed on turn one or two, or remains stunned or shaken for the whole game. The drone squadrons are there to take quarters, and perhaps deep strike and destroy those damn whirlwinds.

But i will be posting a new army list soon, because i have recently found out that only squads over 50% may take quarters, not 50% or above, so i have to re-think my two man crisis teams.

Looks good. I really like your use of infantry. I just dont agree with the drones. For the points you could have some more suits or another firewarrior team. Just a thought.

The trick with the Hammerhead is to add a Multi-tracker and move it 6" every turn. As long as it moves 6" each turn it can only be hit on a 6 and can still fire ALL weapons. Personally I like to move 12" each turn and fire only my main weapon from behind cover.

    Enjoy.

Initially it seems like a great idea to make 3 single-model Crisis Teams (for the Shas'vre bonus but when it comes to tournament composition scores it will show that you have 9 Elite/Heavy/Fast units vs. 4 Troop units which will hurt you. Good composition scores are based on having equal to greater amounts of troop units vs Elite/Heavy/Fast combined...

    Just a thought.

Nothin to complain about. i like the list and a hammerhead with railgun would go vry nice in place of sum drones.

    Elite says so do it!

Not my ideal list but it is a good list. I DO like the gun drone squads. I think I would only use 2 though and put the points in another broadside or few gun drones for the crisis teams, and/or another crisis suit. You could add a shas'el for that matter. Just ramblings, nothing I am strongly attached to.

An aside. as a mater of taste, I wold make one of your three crisis team outfitted with pr/fb/mt for the punch. Harder to use effectively because of range issues. OR. I might substitute one tema for the same amount of stealth. I like stealth and as I said, preference.

no drones are good. the use of drones can be used to slow up an incoming assault by the opponenet, then counter assult with the kroot. id keep em in.

but i would take off bonded off the fire warriors, add a markerlight to the shas o and a multitracker.

    just my two pennies.
