exactly 1500 pts please help out with list after other posts this is what i have so here it is
Your arcon will do alot better with a Punisher. You even have the animus vitae witch will give you +1 str.
It seems like you coudl use some more mobility in your army. I would sugest droping the mandrakes and upgrade the two 10 man warrior squads to two raider units.
Speed up your army a bit and I would like it.
YOU NEED MORE NORMAL WARRIORS! your warriors are the meat of your army and without them you have limited numbers. drop the haemocolus and get more warriors
Quote of the week: "dude, for a whole hour, i would fall asleep!"
Hq- Ok for your lord either go punisher/T-helm/animus/drugs/field or else agoniser/pistol/drugs/field. I find that both varients work very well, the first for T3 armies like IG and the later for T4 armies like SMurfs. The incubi master is a waste of points no matter how you cut it the boost cannot justify the jump in pts. I typically just go for 5 Incubi if i'm using my raider mounted lord. IT tends to be enough ot handle most any cc situation. Drop both those Haemonculus they arn't needed in this army, only reason to pick these guys I find is if you want to field squad's of grotesques.
Elites- Wyches give these guys the damn wych weps for 1 point each its like teh best value in the game!!! Also upgrade one to a succubus and give her an agoniser you need a P wep in this squad. The mandrakes again these guys are extremely hard to use, only time I have found a use for them is in my Coven army, where I put them behind charging grotesques, to force a crossfire kill, drop them.
Troops- YOu need to better utlize your warriors 40 can be pretty good for a 1500 points game. For those 10 man warriors with the lances just get 2 DL's in both use them as sniper squad to either 1) Kill enemy armor 2) Kill a couple guys in a squad you are about to charge. For you other two squads try one of two things. 1) Get a 5 man squad with a DL and put them in a raider the idea here is two have to mobile DL squad's the raider and the troops the raider can block line of site while they both finish off some enemy armor. 2) Get a 10 man squad with a splinter Cannon and Blaster and load them up in a raider with a syabrite armed with agoniser. Makes a nice anit-infantry squad. For a fun trick give the raider the net and drop the warriors off mid flight and land behind the squad they will charge instant crossfire in a box!
Fast Attack- Pointless to get bikes unless your going for at least five. Or else the squad will be way to fragile. I usually go for five two w/ Blasters and my succubus with tormentor helm/ power wep/haywire nades, makes it a good armor hunting and decent anti-infantry squad.
Hvy. support- Again I have only found the Talos to be good in a Coven army. But some people tell me otherwise, I just don't see it. They say it draws hvy/ wep fire, but who cares? Bolters can kill like 95% of the DE army, anyway. I like the ravager cept the nightshield is only good if your really good at judging distances to utilize the distance mod. I usually only get nightshield vs low range armies like nids or sisters.
madrakes are hard to use... I mainly use one unit of 5 just to make my apponent keep guessing... realy good for confusing and distraction other armys away from other things... sence no one realy knows a lot about DE they think mandrakes are like wyches... even though they are like normal warriors haha... silly mandrakes
I also agree with isitused *faster is better* DE are fragile and weak... the faster you get to the other side the better the outcome.
