This is my planned IG army that is mostly purchased and assembled. I wanted something with lots of tanks and an ability to adjust to a mobile enemy. This is what I came up with. I need to buy 1 more chimera, leman russ and hellhound

The plan is for the HSO to hang with the hvy weapons platoons to provide leadership, The Troop platoon to get in the way of assaulting troops, and the drop troopers will give me the extra firepower where I need it.

Also I have an extra doctrine to spend. If I dont find a use it'll be close order drill. Otherwise in a more friendly army it'll be Sanctioned Psykers.

I need to lose 48 points somewhere. Please give me feedback.

48 Points over isn't acceptable. I hate to heckle you, but you need to cut something out. Being one or two points over is alright, but an extra fifty?

Yargh. Missed a line in there. Too tired to help with the army though.

He knows he is 48 points over, he asked what he could drop to bring the points down to 2000. He also knows he has one doctrine left. Come on people read the posts before answering them. It is a worse habit than poor grammar and 733t speak.

Drop the remnants squad, and use the left over points to upgrade the sentinels. Other than that, the army looks good.

i dont understand how youcan write up an army and be almost 50 points over, that makes it basically a different point value base. call it a 2050 army

yep to recover the 48 points, drop the remnants squad. you have the special weapons squads already, so it wont be missed too badly. with your tanks, if you drop the heavy stubbers from the chimeras, and drop a battle tank, does that give you enough points to field a demolisher? those things are mega fire magnets. put it down on the table, smile evily and generally make a fuss about it, and suddenly the rest of your army has free run while your opponent tries to destroy the demolisher (yes ive tried it). if you dont like this idea then so be it, but i still like the list. nice work.
