    New Box Sets

Thinking about starting a new 40K army. What do people think of the new huge box sets just released such as the Space Marine Strike Force, Necron Warrior Phalanx, Eldar Warhost, etc, etc

What do people think of these box sets as a starting point and what is the points value of the contents (before wargear, etc) of each?????????

we can't tell you the points values of all of them but depending on what army you want to play you could get a great starting force ex: a space marine battle company gives you tons to start with

The Mobile Assault Cadre is almost an entire army. All you need is a HQ and some HS.
The Fire Warrior wanted to know what colours our Imperial Toaster Oven would come in?

The Tyranids Assault Brood is an average starter set. You're saving about $50 with it because it's simply two battleforces plus and extra Carnifex. The advantage is it's one of the cheaper ones around and one of the few that come with guys you can use as HQ so you can run it as an army right out of the box(some assembly required).
