    Junior officer - power weapon - 45pts
    Las cannon team - 15pts
    2 guards men -

    = 60pts

    3 heavey bolters - 80pts

    3 heavey bolters - 80pts

    =160pts

    Junior officer 4 guards men- 40pts

    = 40pts

    8 guards men, heavey bolter team = 70pts

    8 guards men, heavey bolter team = 70pts

    = 140pts

    400pts

    I'd trade the lascannon for 2 autocannons in the normal squads, they're nice. if you see an AV 14 in 400 points just ignore it and kill the easy stuff.

    Yeah, I'd have to agree with this statement. In fact, if you follow the 40k in 40 minutes rules, then you won't see a tank with more than 12 armor on any facing. 12 armor is easy to handle with two autocannons.... Usually.

    because of the no total of 33 or more... if it had an AV 14 somewhere on it would have to be 9 and the other would have to be 10... so you just shoot from a different angle
    but yeah... get autocannons instead of lascannon... more shots is good

    i thought lascannons were 25pts, but if you're taking an autocannon anyway then big deal. the only issue i have is that what with your two heavy-weapons squads, you dont have lots and lots and lots of guardsmen. this is bad. IMO, the best 40k in 40mins tactic for IG is to have so many guardsmen that the opponent cant kill them all. but, i spose it might work..... try it and see!

    I have... i won with it....alot....shame that doesnt happen in proper point games.
