ok or havnt seen it
So blackreach is out and has started up the armies of many people but is it worth it?
If Slaanesh is the god of the Perverse, why does Nurgle have all the filth?
Price it out and pull this poll.
awesome and definitely worth it if your considering either army or even if you just want a mini rule book and know someone who'll buy the minis off of you.
They're pretty detailed and i've already got two of the space marine forces. I convertyed one of the seargents, replaced the pointing hand with a power fist (used and extra wraithlord hand to get the same pointing effect) and replaced the chainsword with a bolter.
Most Notable Achievements:
Killed a Revenant Titan in one shot.
Killed 900 pts worth of Blood Angels in 2 turns while only loosing 4 pts.
I didn't vote. You don't have an option better than 'good'.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
If you need or want the models and mini rule book you can't beat the price
its VERY good, about £150 worth of stuff for £40, you'd have to be an idiot to think its not worth it
I got it mainly for the min rulebook -but as I have an Ork and SM army I thought I may be able to make use of the mini's if the "Snap-fix" weren't completely rubbish - I was surprisingly impressed though.
Yes they are not quite as good as their normal, bought seperately counterparts, but they are very, very good for the price. If you just kept the rule book, the termies, dreadnought and deathkoptas (IMHO the best three models in the box) and threw the rest away it would still be a good deal. Add in the 20 Boyz, 10 marines, Boss, Nobz and Comander and it's an absolute steal.
If you wanted to up your forces for Apoc games you could do a lot worse than buy a couple of boxes of this game and sell the opposing army (or have the core of a new army)
Ok let's see
- £150 worth of models in a £40 kit
- Rule book, dice etc
- Transfers to start any ork or sm force
- Even people who don't collect the armies are buying this....
Anyone who votes bad in this poll deserves to be shouted at (I don't say shot cos I'm a nice person )!
"Well... that hurt" - Vampire Jon Skellan (Mannfred's right hand man) after being beaten up, falling down an underground waterfall and being impaled by a stalactite.
You kidding me? I added it up at the local store - even if you only play one army, and just stuff the other into a closet, the models for that army alone are cheaper than buying them separately. Add in the dice, templates and rule book, and you've gotta be a very persistent malcontent to disagree.
Case in point: not one single person has said anything bad about the models on this thread, except for "not quite as good as their separately-bought counterparts". That's gotta be some kind of record.
Note that prices vary regionally.
I think its great, I did the math, you get like 175 US dollars worth of marines. Compare that to Macragger where you got like 1 tactical squad and some scientist dude.
