Chaos Space Marines
Well, I have been trying hard to decide between 5 armies recently. They all call to me. Here's the problem.
I started as Tyranids, have always had a bit of a soft spot for the bugs. I would like to return to them one day, and slaughter for the hive mind
Then I moved to Chaos, where I have been for a long long time. Having a Word Bearers army, Night Lords army, a lot of undivided marines, and some of every cult unit, and Ang'grath, I have a very large Chaos army.
Then I tried Eldar out for a change. Great fun to play, I would like to do a Wraith list, using PP models, which would look sweet.
I also dabbled in Orks. Always loved those buggers.
Also, I'm seriously looking at sisters. They have nice models and fluff. And I love the faith thing. Only problem is that would mean being an Imperial. Which goes against my grain. *spits* They would have to follow a radical inquisitor or something.
Well folks. Could you try to tempt me about to the armies?
Thanks in advance
Edit: I would like reasons with the votes I need inspiration and such >.>
I think you should rule out Sisters, if you are anti-Imperial. They are the most fanatic and devoted servants to the Emperor of them all. Space Marines are more radical!
The Sisters are the only army in 40K I play largely because of how good they look --- most of the others are out of the question for me purely on aesthetic reasons. You will need to be aware that even if Inquisitors can be `radical' (which there is nothing in-game to support this; it is purely a fluff thing), Sisters are far more hard-line. They are all about utterly annihilating mutants, chaos and xenos.
Voted Eldar. They're a pretty army to paint, you've said you enjoy playing them, and you've already got a conversion/theme project in mind - roll with it.
Two's to kill. Ahh, sweet sweet music.
orks are just so awesome! I have an eldar and a necron army as well as an ork one.
Best thing about orks is how much converting/re-moddeling you can do and still have it looking orky. As a converter and a player of the game orks are by far the coolest. Also, if you like painting then, orks provide a hell of a lot of opportunity to go nuts.
Orks: W7/D2/L3, Necrons: 6/0/1, Eldar: 4/1/2, Marines: 0/0/0
Ogres: 1/0/1, Bretonnians 0/0/0
I voted Witch Hunters, as you appear to have dabbled in all the other options of the poll, trying something new of only for a little while might make up your mind for you.
Then again, I advocate trying new armies for a go anyway, probably why I have four now in less than a year playing, two 2k points worth fantasy armies, a third fanasy army starting and Tyranids to give 40k a go.
I chose Tyranids as they are the most organic army, I am generally not a fan of science fiction so going for a fleshy, crittery option was nice for me
Of those on the list, I personally prefer nids, but you shouldnt let other peoples' votes affect your desision, go with what you have the most fun with.
I would suggest not just sisters, but the inquisition overall. Daemon hunters are beasts in melee combat riding on their land raiders with their grand masters only matched by the most awesome warriors in hand to hand.
Sisters have seraphim wich are true angels of death, they do put marine assault squads to shame imo.
Imperial inquisitors are insane in their devotion to their cause, witch ever it may be.
Otherwise i think you should make your decision by playstyle, I think inquisition has one of the most beautiful models available with a huge freedom for conversion.
