6 sqauds of 12 firewarriors
(simple, but i think effective)
List B (probably the more well rounded list)
1 Etherial (possibly Aun'Shi)
2 squads of 3 crisis suits
3 squads of 12 firewarriors
1 pathfinder team with 7 pathfinders (3 with rail rifles)
(i left weapons configs out, but there are enough points left over for a good deal of le-way in the armament department)
list A: prolly owns anything, but everyone will hate you so much and will not want to play you because of such cheese...ive had experience with 72 FW myself(its alot of fun the  )
list B: yeah it looks like a pretty good army, but you do know that the pathfinders need a devilfish. if you find a nice tactic for this army then it will do good.
"Learn to shorten your reach! If your foe can come close enough to negate your striking power, all strategem is lost and when all stratagem is lost, the battle is lost."

right, I do in fact have the devilfish and know of the rule, I just left it out of the army list, but thank you for your input. I too favor the more well balanced army. I enjoy a diverse army, and i might commit suicide if i have to paint 72 firewarriors since i use a mainly white paint scheme (I paint them to look like star wars stormtroopers with white armor and a black body glove). It looks very impressive on the field, but takes a lot of extra effort to get the white to turn out looking good.
