    Best thing about 40k

Just wondering cos most people think im a complete nerd, we should revel ourselves in this brilliant hobby!

If Slaanesh is the god of the Perverse, why does Nurgle have all the filth?

The background is what keeps me interested. Even when I hadn't played a game for months on end, I would read the odd Codex or BL book or play some DoW to keep me somewhat interested.

That said, I do like the models (especially the high quality plastics) and I do enjoy playing the game when I get the chance (maybe once a month or so)

I voted for the background, the sprawling gothic wastelands of the future are what first pulled me in.

very hard to choose from whats there

The rules and tactics of the game
Its flavorful background?, not really, it gets changed more than my boxers
Its brilliant models? again not really, whoever has been sculpting allot of GW studd lately must be blind
Its variety? blue space marines or red space marines you mean?
Its customisableness? nothing is really customizable anymore cus GW keep getting rid of choices
Its cheap cost! LOL?, I think LOL says it all

so the only thing thats best about 40k is.....umm.....well if we talk about ANYTHING 40k related, then BFG

I would have to go with the background since it is so vast and varied and it also has so much potential for expansion.

Well, I attracted to it was due to the background story that is just the main thing that I find interesting.

Secondly is the models I think it is high detailed and good within such scale models.

Thirdly is the tactics of the game once the game commence. You can see various tactics that each different people uses to accomplish their goals getting to see their creativity.

For the rules, well it get better and much clearer now although I might still ask around about it but yes, it get much better again in my humble opinion.

For customization sadly I only used what I got as I rarely convert or jimmy the models due to the lack of parts , bits and pieces that is gw issued stuff.

Pretty hard to get anything on this end, A friend of mine offer me to show me how to sculpt using green stuff but I haven't got around to it,

For Variety as I play IG it gets much variety inside of it for each gear and doctrines I find it plenty of good choices at least on the old codex I don't know about the new one.

For the price well err I think that one is what is not so great the price is bit steep been wanting to stock up on melta , commisars, and karskins as those are still metals most of it still bit too expensive for my wallet.
No retreat, No surrender.. got questions ? ask the Commissar.

I voted for the background. There's loads of 40k novels. Dan Abnetts books do a damn good job at adding buckets of flavour. I do also love playing 40k but I don't get people complaining Orks are overpowered when I'm reading a book
