    this list is for a large team battle (depending on who shows up and how the teams are decided) grey knights, blood angels ,ultramarines ,tau, dark angels , deathwing ,nids, black templars , imp guard and another space wolves army are all possible allies or enemies and again depending on who shows up. any advice is welcome

    TROOPS

    10 blood claws 2 power fists rhino with smoke and extra armor =222

    9 blood claws 2 power fists rhino w extra armor and smoke (rune priest)=208

    9 grey hunter with 6 bolters 2 power weapons 1 flame thrower
    rhino with smoke @ extra armor (wolf lord)= 243

    ELITES
    6 scouts with 2 plasma pistols 2 power weapon s 1 melta gun =134

    venerable dred with assault cannon and extra armor=163

    HEAVY SUPPORT
    leman russ exterminator all h bolters smoke and extra armor =208

    2 vindicators with smoke and extra armor = 256

    FAST ATTACK
    land speeder (i forget the type ) flame thrower and heavy bolter =75

    total 2001

    any advice is welcome

    OK first point your army list is a little difficult to read, have a cast around you find the general method is:

    a) split things into types (Eg hq, elites, troops etc)

    point a points for the overall unit and do not put rules (posting rules breaches GW copywright)

    But to get serious then:


    Your hqs, what is the 2+ save?

    I would have the ven dread as one of your HQs. The guy on a bike is rather pointless - if he isnt with a unit he will get his but kicked, if he is he doesnt need the bike

    genreally, without going through it all, you need more troops.
    I dont over rate the LRe generally I consider it a waste of points in a SW army, better to take a pred, however you have anough vehicles to get away with it, that said, you are way too light on troops, and are very dependant on a rhino rush, which means 4th ed rules will a dint in your style of play

    how good are vindicators ive been thinking about making an army with them.. but is it worth it?

    theyre ok if you can get within 24" but apart from that not so good. the 2+ save is runic armour.

    those are all the troops i own so far .
    the vindicators are actually effective (lots of land raiders and termies will be involve on bolth sides ) nobodyi know will be using the majority of the 4rth ed rules
    give or take a few . the rune priest is what saves me when my rhinos get destroyed .
