Well...in my heavily regimented and standardized style, here goes nothing:

HQ
Warsmith (DP): Dreadaxe, CCW, Spiky Bits, D. Armour, D. Aura, D. Flight, D. Stature, D. Strength, MoCU
186 pts

Elites
Obliterator Cult (x1)
70 pts
Obliterator Cult (x1)
70 pts
Obliterator Cult (x1)
70 pts

Troops
CSM's (x6): Bolters, Lascannon, Plasgun, MoCU
115 pts
CSM's (x6): Bolters, Lascannon, Plasgun, MoCU
115 pts
CSM's (x6): Bolters, Lascannon, Plasgun, MoCU
115 pts
CSM's (x9): BP/CCW, Flamer x2, Furious Charge, MoCU
Asp. Champ: PW, D. Str
Rhino APC: XA, Smokes
260 pts
CSM's (x9): BP/CCW, Meltagun x2, Furious Charge, MoCU
Asp. Champ: PF, D. Mutation
Rhino APC: XA, Smokes
278 pts

Heavy Support
Chaos Havocs (6x): Bolters/CCW, ML x4, Tank Hunters
182 pts
Chaos Predator: Autocannon, HB sponsons, Mutated Hull
137 pts
"Foamy" Pattern Chaos Dreadnought: D. Possesion, TL Autocannon
130 pts
Corrupted Basilisk: Ind. Fire
125 pts

Total: 1848 pts
Composition:
HQ: 10%
Elites: 11%
Troops: 48%
Fast Attack: 0%
Heavy Support: 31%

My firebase is considerably grown -- 3 Las/Plas squads supported by 3 Oblits for the countercharge if they are unfortunate enough to get into assault, as well as a Predator Destructor for antitroop, a Havoc squad sitting behind those, with MLs just waiting to hit anything, and a Basilisk for indirect fire goodness. In addition, the 2 CC Rhino squads rush around to extinguish any fires that my firebase may encounter, supported by the Dread, which pops any incoming transports. The DP flies around and wades through any cannon fodder so that the cannons can actually fire at whatever is worth hitting. Focused fire plan with a considerable counterassault. Whaddya think? Tourney worthy?

/me runs for cover.

That looks like a really nice list.

He knew that man was repentant

He cannot weep even though he suffers sorely

Nice army there, Now thats what you call firepower, I would agree with Salamander if he is a demon prince but if not stick with the MoCU and Anything else i would take a defiler, I am not suprized if your put off bye then, But i have one in my small IWs army and it does wonders for me speically if 12 death company charged in it and they hard no powerfists    .

He could be. I dunno. I don't have my 'dex -- these points values are memorized, except for the DP, because I had to check up on the value of his Gifts. I love the Dreadaxe. It makes me happy to see him take on a Wraithlord and win (it was just a little simulation I ran with some dice...I don't have his mini yet -- I'm doing the conversion that was in WD, with the Dragon Wings, GS, and 'Thirster Axe...it's just so AWESOME). As for the Defiler, I decided against it, simply because the Havocs are too valuable, and it's difficult as it is to find a hiding spot for one small tank, let alone a gigantic spidery siege engine. I do love them, though. At 2000 points, would you recommend bikes (they're RIDICULOUSLY powerful in 4th ed), or a Dreadclaw Assault Pod for the Dreadnought?

the deadly combo of D. stature and a Dreadaxe, nice one squirrel

All in all a very wel designed list I must admitt, a decent amount of shooting mixed with good cc abilities

this should give people a headache on tourney

well if you stick with your commander instead of the deamon prince is more likely to survive longer, Since he isant a large target.
Also you wont have to send him in to wraithlords if you blow them to pieces with you havocs or normal marines.

Also with bikes there only 2 diffarances between csm and normal sm bikes
more attacks and higher leadership for the same points, mmm i would only take bikes if you had the spare points and in a big squad of them, Myself i only have 3 right now any the prove to be worthless right now.
I guess its just a gamble if you want to use them that is.

Hope that awsters your question

Looks like a dead good list. Only armies that give you real trouble must be infantry based armies of either IG, orks or Tau. It's nice to kick a Wraithlord's ass in close combat, but you don't have to with that list. With all those Lascannons and obliterators you'll shoot it to pieces by turn 2 at least. But if you've made a nice conversion, there is no reason to drop the stature and dreadaxe. And with three induvidual obliterators, you'll hear the word 'cheesy' from all of your opponents.

They can kiss my ass. At least I'm not taking 9.

I'm curious as to how I would go about dealing with said armies, especially Tau...It would seem that the Basilisk pinning a squad per turn and my DP flying around to deal with certain jet packers would be pretty good for dealing with Tau. Maybe against Tau, I'll replace Aura with Rune? Also, I can see how guard would give me trouble. Can I get some advice on dealing with them too?

Well, your flamers will certainly help you out against guard. Templates and heavy bolters are the business for killing their infantry.

Maybe you should swap those meltaguns in one of your Rhino squads for two more flamers? Or at least let each unit have one flamer each.. They're supposed to get in combat with infantry right? Not hang around shooting tanks.. Or maybe you should give your Rhinos havoc launchers, I love havoc launchers.. four extra templates a turn? that's yummy. The rhinos can also be given blasphemous runes, as tank shocking is great against guard, tau and orks. I think you have no need to fear spending too much points on the rhinos, as your opponent will want to shoot your shooty stuff first.
Another way would be to exchange your lascannons for missile launchers..
