So it been a while and this seems to happen to every player, that is what do we do when the game gets boring?
As my friend mentioned with the new CSM codex he feels bord. I think a good game will get him feeling better but sometimes that doesnt help- its hard to lose good players because of this so what do you guys suggest? I just dont want to have a good player leave.
I got bored, took a break for a while, and am now back loving it again.
and find the right people to play with....game should be about collective fun and roam of the imagination, not about little man of plastic moving and throwing dices

My friends tell me it's good to play other games. They say playing other systems keeps your mind stimulated. There are some good games you could play. How about "Chaos in the Old World"? Or "Malifaux", I hear you can get into it for under $100 and that it's very good. "The key is variety", my friends say. So find something you both like and can game together, there are so many good games out now. It's just for a bit, after all, 40K is -LIFE-! Everything else is just a game, ha ha!

Fear is of the unknown...
No, I agree that campaigns are good. Especially ones where casualties and battle out-comes are important. It becomes trickier to keep heores alive and you're no longer so keen to sacrifice elite units. It's kind of a meta-game that makes the actual battles more... important?
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
