The tournament is at the warmonger's club, (I went there last night, and the play atmosphere is absolutely wonderful). I'm allowed to bring 1000 points of bugs, plus one additional 300 point non-tank unit. This is my tentative list, (and I absolutely must bring old one eye, since he's so cool... my friend painted him for me, (which I'll tell them) and I think he'd be a good fire-magnet/tank buster. The tournament uses the 4th edition rules, with pdf updates:

I anticipate there being a large number of space marine and chaos space marine players, although I also saw a few dark eldar players when I was down there... of course, the armies are all posted on the website. My goal isn't to win so much as have a bunch of close games.

This is a lot of points on a hive tyrant! But, then again I like to have cheaper tyrants anyways. You might have a problem with it being the bullet magnet and not ooe.
Elite: 3 Leaping CC Warriors:
AG+1 In, +1 WS, TxnScs, ExtCarap, Ensns, Leaping - 123 points
Nice!
Troops: 30 Adrenogaunts -Leaping, Ag+1 In, ST, hivenode mutant - 300 points
Good choice of gaunts, but I think you did the math wrong.
Troops: 15 DeathGaunts - Leaping, TxnScs, ST, hivenode mutant - 175 Points
I don't know.... Personally I don't like expensive gaunts, but they are good at killing marines, so go right ahead! Decent choice.
Troops: 15 Spinegaunts - spinefists, hivenode - 85 points
Yay! My favorite! Spine gaunts are awesome, great choice!
Heavy: 3 Biovores w/ 2 Poison Spore and 2 Bioacid Mines - 176 points
These are nice, but I don't really like bio-acid mines because they are a bit random. <_<
Heavy: Old One Eye - 164 points
Love it!

Overall a good army list, but try and save points because this is a 1300 point game. The only problem is that you have to make sure your TMCs don't die because then you can't kill tanks!
You call those cheap implants boobs?
They aren't boobs, they're lies!

bioacid mines aren't as random as you might think... 1/3 of the time, they'll spray at the nearest target, and if you put them in a clump of marines or other baddies, you're guaranteed to hit a few nomatter what direction they spray in... I usually fire all 3 biovores at the same target anyway.

also, I've changed the adrenogaunts to lysogaunts... the math is right, I just forgot to mention the toxin sacs... I figure with 4 strength, they can glance rear vehicle armor. plus, the biovores and the rending warriors can take out armor as well... on a "6" for ap, the warriors could crack open a landraider and feast on the gooey center

--- Solid... As long as You're not playing on salt flats, deserts or ice glaciers. Hopefully this new place has better standards and more terrain. Which they should have, given the 4thEd pointers for terrain coverage.

Elite: 3 Leaping CC Warriors:
AG+1 In, +1 WS, TxnScs, ExtCarap, Ensns, Leaping - 123 points
--- Ensns? What Bioweapons?

I suppose I don't need to tell You why EnhSen is not a good idea, and what Bioweapons You should choose?

Troops: 30 Adrenogaunts -Leaping, Ag+1 In, ST, hivenode mutant - 300 points
--- So these have ToxSac as well? But then they would be much more expensive than mere 300 points? Not to mention that even with the mentioned stuff they'd still be over 300pts... Edit Your original list with the final decision You made with these and correct the points!

Troops: 15 DeathGaunts - Leaping, TxnScs, ST, hivenode mutant - 175 Points
--- Solid.

Troops: 15 Spinegaunts - spinefists, hivenode - 85 points

Troops: 14 Spinegaunts - spinefists, hivenode - 80 points
--- Solid throwaways.

Heavy: 3 Biovores w/ 2 Poison Spore and 2 Bioacid Mines - 176 points
--- My faves... Not a bad word to say! Except that usually less than optimal against SM-type armies, but I take them anyway. =)

Heavy: Old One Eye - 164 points
--- I would go for the basic VCannon 'Fex... But Your choice.

the "adrenogaunts" should read "lysogaunts" a la michael casavant... there are 24 of them, and they have toxin sacs and adrenal glands...

the biovores have bioacid and poison spore since I'm pretty sure there will be dark eldar, (a new opponent for me&#33 and ork players there...

Old One Eye is in there since I've never gotten to use him before, and he's so survivable that it ought to be a useful bullet magnet for me...

The warriors don't actually have enhanced senses, and they have scything talons and rending claws, obviously
