If you could make one special character what would he/she be?I'm not looking for an uber character, just something you think would be a good option.
I would have something like this:
Fleet Officer O'Brian (takes the place of one Officer of the Fleet), 75 points
Close Combat Weapon
WS 3 S BS 4 S 3 T 3 W 2 I 3 A 1 Ld 9 Sv 4+ ( and 5+ invulnerable)
Special Rules: Intercept Reserves, Rapid Deployment and Emperor's Fist.
Intercept Reserves: "Whilst [O'Brian] is alive, your opponent must subtract 1 from all of his reserve rolls. In addition, if any enemy units arrice using the outflank rule, you may choose to make you opponent re-roll the dice used to determine which board edge these suads arrives from." Pretty much the codex rule.
Rapid Deployment: O'Brian has control over some of the Imperial Fleets finest ships and can call upon thier use to deleiver high priority intel or much needed support. You may choose one infantry squad to enter the table via deep strike from reserves in this way: The squad must deep strike within 24' of Officer O'Brian, but does not have to be in line of sight. This squad does not scatter no matter what.
Emperor's Fist: O'Brian commands his own personal strike cruiser Emperor's Fist. Uses this strike cruiser to cover the ground infantry, as even a Fleet Officer such as O'Brian can see how vital this is. Any enemy units deep striking within 24" of O'Brian scatters 3d6 if an arrow is rolled on the scatter die, and only 2d6 if a hit is rolled in the direction of the arrow on the hit side.
What I was shooting for is a special character to give an infantry based IG army some much needed mobility. What are some of yours?

King Killa (ork vehicle, HQ choice)
WS 2, BS 3, S6(10), T-, W-, I 2, A 4, LD-, SV-
Kustom Force Field
Kustom-Mega-Grotzooka: Built from the cannon of a superheavy, this beast of a gun is unmatched when it comes to it's stopping power. It has the following profile.
Range: 18', S6, AP5, Heavy 4 - small blast
And I'm sure you're all aware of what the Kustom-Force Field is if you've ever fought against Orks. If you're not, it's a 6'' bubble that gives a cover save.
If I could make a special character?
I would make something that would allow Chaos Space Marines to take Bike, Termies, and/or Raptors as Troops choices.
Seriously, if you want to go Undivided, normal CSM just won't cut it as the only Troops choice, and regular marines get a bajillion of these kinds of guys.
Necron Machination (HQ choice): 115 pts: WS 5 BS 5 S5 T5 W3 I4 A3 Ld10(Like usual) Sv 3+
Weapons: Staff of Light (power weapon)
Options: Replace the Staff of Light for a warsythe for 10 pts. He may take up to 130pts from the Necron Wargear section of the Armoury.
Character: The Necron Machination is an independent character and follows all the rules for characters given in the big, red book.
Necron. The Necron Machination follows the Necron special rules as detailed on page 13.
Necron Productivity. If The Necron Machination is included in an army list, the player may Immortals, Wraiths, and Destroyers as troop choices at the same cost.
Just something I would like.
Something I've been thinking of ever since I noticed Orks have no sniper weapons and how Ratling models could look cool if they were Gretchen instead. And also once I realized Gretchen are sort of the sniper of the ork Army, I though it would be cool to have an actual model like that:
Plinka, Legendary Gretchen Sharpshooter More concerned with the fluff, but I'd guess around 85 pts for this.
Plinka is a special Grot. Weather he was destined for greatness, just happened to get lucky, or has actually been a number of Gretchen throughout the years who all used similar styles, no one knows (And Orks don't much care. It's just a weedy Grot after all!). There have been numerous reports by the Imperium, however, that talk of men being sniped from ranges normally uncommon for orks, and with accuracy far better than orks are normally capable of. Most of these reports come from various places through out the galaxy, always just before an ork offensive. Some of them are accompanied by first hand reports of a small figure being seen leaving the area the shot came from matching the description of an Ork Gretchen, although most are taken with a grain of salt as the Imperium knows the gretchen are usually relegated to menial tasks by the Orks, and are far from a formidable foe. There's no way a single Gretchen could be responsible for the hundreds of confirmed casualties that this sniper is responsible for... or is there?
WS 2 BS 4 S 2 T 3 W 2 I 4 A 1 Ld 7 Sv -
Kustom Long-blasta (Range: Special Str X AP: 3 Sniper)
Survivor - Plinka has survived countless battles... far more than any gretchen should. Part of this is due to the fact that no one expects a single gretchen to make any impact on a battle, so rarely do the other races stop to verify the shot they launched at the grot cowering behind cover. If he would be destroyed by any shooting phase attack, roll a D6 and on a 4+, Plinka stays on the table with 1 wound.
Da Bigguns are scary!: Once per enemy assault phase if Plinka is assaulted, after assault moves have been made, you may force the assaulting unit to make an opposed Initiative test. If Plinka wins the test, he may immediately make a Fall Back move in any direction as long as he does not move through enemy models.
Kustom Long-Blasta: This sniper rifle was made for plinka by a free-boota Mek he encountered after abandoning his original clan. It is exceptionally well made and has been tuned up numerous times whenever a clan hires Plinka's skills out. This weapon has an unlimited range, however, for every 15" Inches that it is shot at, roll a D6. If any of these results comes up as a 1, the shot fails and nothing else happens. Ex: If shot at 40", roll 2d6, and anything but a 1 will allow the shot to go off normally. Also, this weapon can be used to pick out Independent Characters attached to units due to it's complicated sighting scopes. Plinka's controller can choose to assign the shot to either the IC or the squad when Plinka shoots at a squad with one attached. ((Personally I think all sniper rifles should have this last part, but w/e))
I figure the model will be a Grizzled Grot on a rock with a weapon propped up in an Orky Fashion, kinda like the Hochland Long Rifles.

I am verbose. Sorry.
Kargh's Wite Butz, Death Skullz Orks: W: 5, L:, 2 D:2; Silver-skull Necrons: 1W 1L,500 pt
A dark apostle would be a godssend.
I'd sell my soul for when games workshop releases a chaos legions book, or barring that a real codex for Zou Sahaal to become an official character
Vazzaroth's guy, but riding on a squig.
I'd make a Death Company version of the Blood Angel's infamous Captain Tycho, and I'd give him a pretty beefed up statline. But I wouldn't give him Independent Character or Eternal Warrior so that he'd be a total waste of points.
I've recently become a fan of this thing called Dubstep. And you should too.

Da Moo Kowz is da drinkinest Orks of dem all!
BossGorestompa, your wish is granted. See the new Blood Angels Codex.
Being a GK player I'd like to see a proper GK character (GM or not) that give other top marine characters a run for it's money.
