Yes people i know that my spelling and punctuation is awful but I am product of British teaching pollicies so what can I do about it?
>this is my army list for a city fight againt eldar
Some problems with it.
>HQ: librarian:plasma pistol, force weopen, pcycic hood,
150 points (or so, I think Librarians cost 70)
>troops: 9 man tactical squad: vet sgt, 1 flamer
>transport: land raider
406 points. But only command squads can take Land Raiders as transport, and you have used up all of your Heavy support.
>troops: 9 man tactical squad: 1 flamer
>troops: 7 man tactical squad: 1 heavy bolter
>fast attack: 5 man assalt squad: bolt pistol, ccws
125 points. A vs with a power weapon would be a good investment, even against Eldar.
>heavy support: pred destucter: heavy bolter sponsons
110 points. Needs extra armour, dozer blade, and probably smoke launchers
>heavy support: 6man devisater squad: 3 missile lanchers, 1 lascannon
>heavy support: whirlwind
85 points. I would give if extra armour dozer blade and smoke launchers usually, but you might get away without it in a cityfight.
I would drop one of the flamer tactical squads and take a big unit of scouts. A Standard Land Raider is not such a good investment in a cityfight, sure it will survive (unless it fall in a cellar that is, your taking three vehicles to a battlefield that is almost exclusively difficult terrein, and you have no dozer blades. Each time you move one of them there is a 1/6 chance it'll get done), but it is just too expensive, and the long range of the godhammers is wasted. If you must take a moving bunker, use a LR Crusader and give it a dozer blade. The Multi-Melta should handle any falcons or wave serpents you come up against, and a twin-linked assault cannon and 2 hurricane bolters will make a mess of any infantry squad you care to name. Dreadnoughts are good in city fight too, enemy in combat always strike the front armour in the first round. Just make sure they have backup, because they do take some time wading through large squads, ll of their opponents will be able to attack them, and that adds up to an horrendous amount of attacks against their rear armour in futere rounds (admittedly something much less worrying vs Elder than any Strength 4 opponents).
Finally, and don't take this the wrong way, you are typing an army list army list on a computer. This implies two things, 1 you have a Codex, 2 you have a word processor. Spelling errors just discourage people from reading your posts.
Greetings from Planet X, I hope you enjoy your day.
