What does the Chimera do in these lists? Seems to me you have no assault elements (like Ogryns), that really need to be carried, and the rest of your army is basically a "gunline" army. After all, the armoured fist in 1000pts will probably only take up points, which is even worse at 500pts and not be shooting to full effect when you need it. Unless you have a specific objective to take that requires speed, Id leave it at home in favour of more men. The only other thing Id suggest is maybe a bit more lascannon fun, after all you only have one, and 2/3 in a heavy weapons squad gives a bit better bite against things like Predators and Hammerheads. Apart from that, not much to criticise.
I think your list will struggle against armour 14.

Well read Hourglasses IG tacticas pinned in the IG Forum, it helps decide what you want to try out. That will basicall tell you what i would.
Such as don't make your HQ assaulty and ALWAYS take a Heroic Senior and Iron Discipline. Take carapace of all of your officers just not worth the points.
Don't take mortars, hey well just awful. The Chimera will be useful as a mobile gunboat and as a objective taker. And swap out some of the M-Launchers for lascannons. What you lose with versatility you gain ever so much with anything busting power.
Hope I helped
