Could you please be a bit more specific? It is quite slow, sure. I know what to get for transport. But what tank would fit the bill best? Would it be the Annihilator or the Destructor?

Lose the mastercrafted plasma pistol. With the new rules you won't be doing a lot of firing and its definitely not worth the extra 15 points to simply get a shot in before you charge. Take a bolt pistol instead for the extra attack.

Terminators must have either a transport or be deepstriking. You really don't want those expensive units footslogging it everywhere and open to attack.

I suggest losing tactical squad Foxtrot to free up some points. Get a biker squad and equip your chaplain with a teleport homer and a bike. Rush them around to your enemy's flank and then deepstrike the terminators in whenever you feel like it. That's what I could advise without making an even more significant change to your army.

I haven't bought the models yet, just the rulebook and codex. Any major changes will only cost me an extra sheet of paper at this point. Anyways, here's list two.

Drop Tactical squad Delta and get a squad of Scouts all with sniper rifles.
These are usually effective aganist heavy weapon squads and anything else you don't want rushing your front lines very quickly or shooting rather large guns at you. It'll also give you some amount of cover for your advancing troops.
The powerfists on your terminators with stormbolters might look powerful at first, but with the new rulebook shooting won't be such an attractive option compared to just charging. Give the 5 regular terminators lightning claws so you can take advantage of the initiative 4. That'll be 15 attacks rerolling wounds. The two chainfists should take care of high toughness or armored units.

With my changes it should look like a very well rounded list.

I have to admit, I love the sopund of a sniper rifle. Always hit on a two, and wounding on a four regardless of Toughness just sounds so beautiful. I guess I've spent too much time playing Halo and Half-Life: Counter Strike with a sniper rifle in my hands. Well, let's hope the third time is the charm.

Holding true to my army's theme, there will be no flamers. It kind of makes sense seeing as they'd have gotten their start on a world that's one big tundra. Hope this is better than the last two.

Problem is you are getting pulled away from your original list by varrious goodies. I quite often play with 1500 points nila marines and the following observaions occur:

    1. I dont do the bike thing, you started out with a shooting based army with a litttle punch nad your have turned into a more assult army than a shooting one, giving your chaplain a bike and putting in a bike squad just to use the teleport homer seems pretty naff to me. I would leave the bikes out. plus I wouldnt burn so many points on the chaolain - he doent need purity seals or melta bombs

    2. Termies: nononono - I wouldnt touch them in 1500 points nilla and only occasionaly in 2000 points, my termies are for pure deathwing armies only. Basically they are a points sink, unless they quickly get into close combat they will draw every heavy weapon your opponent has and wont last long, even when they do get into combat they will be targeted by banshees, Orcs with Big Choppas, Pariahs, Possessed and pretty much anything that has the ability to ignore armour saves - they will be lucky to ever gt back their points value, it is far easier to make effective use of points using marines.

    3. troops: OK the scouts - yes I often take this, but you need to think about what they will be shooting at, I take them for Avatars, Wraithlords, greater demons, C'Tan etc.
Your tac squads look like they arent really sure what they re using heavy weapons for, I would stick with missile launchers unless you are going for a specific enemy, I would give one of the Vetran sgts a power fist and put the Chaplain with his squad
I would take more tac squds (from points freed from the loss of the termies and bikes) probably including at least one small (6man) squad in a TL las cannon Razorback

The Pred is cool but I would be looking to add a whirlwind as well

I see a flaw. You have little to no CC other then your termies! Fact is hes going to have a problem getting to you with all the fire power, but when he does your kinda screwed! Try putting instead of just bolter, place half of them with Bolter pistol and CC weapon. Shorter range but you get the extra attack plus CC attack.

The reason I gave the Chaplain a bike was so he could use the teleport homer to quickly deep strike my Terminatiors. Now that I think about it, the melta bombs do seem frivilous. I don't remember the rules for bikes, but are they able to fall back after losing an assault? If the answer is no, that'll get scraped as well.

OK the scouts - yes I often take this, but you need to think about what they will be shooting at, I take them for Avatars, Wraithlords, greater demons, C'Tan etc.
They'll take down HQ and Elite choices in the opposing armies. They're my assassins, basically. They'll be staying well away from any assaults.

Your tac squads look like they arent really sure what they re using heavy weapons for,
The basic idea is each squad has an anti-personnel heavy weapon and an anti-armor special weapon. They'll be my back-up tankbusters, giving firing support and taking out enemy footsloggers and light vehicles before that.

And I'll make sure those Terminators get into close combat quickly. That's what the teleport homer on the Chaplain is for. That way, I don't lose 346 points because of a bad roll.

    4. HS
The Pred is cool but I would be looking to add a whirlwind as well
It may be easy to keep the Whirlwind away from the front lines, but that thing has a Rhino chassis. That means that any enemy unit that comes within range and has a weapon that's strength 6 or higher can take it down with two good rolls. That's why each Tactical squad has an anti-personnel heavy weapon. The heavy bolters seem to fit the bill better in that department, so the missle launcher in Tactical Squad Bravo will be replaced by one of those.
