Well, that is my goal to collect within the next few months, but a few bits i am worried might be a bit ineffective. If anyone has any advice, particularly how to deal with heavy armor at long range using an alternative to the Dreadnought. I am worried that it is too big a target for it's light armor.

First off, remove points values. It's ok to show the cost of a squad, but not the cost of each of that squad's upgrades one by one.

Nothing wrong with this unit, basically what I use myself. Maybe an Icon on the GM if you find he gets targeted a lot.

I'd say drop one psycannon out of each unit and use those points towards another GK. You have to look at it as which is more valuable: A GK with a heavy gun, or two GK, both with stormbolters and nfw's. Alternately, keep 2x psycannons in one unit and none in the second, specialising them a bit more.

Smoke and Searchlights are handy for the Chimera.

I'd say no to this in a 1500 army, especially one that has a 400pt HQ unit in it. Deepstrike the HQ, give TP homers to your Justicars and an IST Vet, and drop this tank entirely. Use the points to pick up either a second dreadnought or more troops.

    Incinerator, pts

Personally I don't like TLLC combined with Incinerator - they serve very different purposes. In this army, I'd suggest making him a TLLC/ML Dreadnought. If you pick up a second one like I suggested, make it a plasma cannon or assault cannon or something with a CCW/Incinerator arm.

Well, I changed a few things.

Yor opinion on the LRC is appreciated, but I personaly love then concept behind land raiders in general. Heavy armor AND massive firepower

This comes to the question, what do you belive is more effective, the LR or the LRC. I am not going to waver on that. It I select a LR, the DN could be used more for close combat.

The reason I favor the psicannon is because my cheif opposition will come from tough 3 armies.

I am not personally understanding the Tough 3 armies in relation to the Psycannon? Insta-killing with the Strength 6 vs Tough 3 is not going to be highly useful against your basic troopers, they are usually only one wound. In close combat a gray knight has strength 6 as well. If you are set on the Psycannons, perhaps a Purgation squad of 4 plus the justicator is in order? I have not used them, so I can not attest to their usefulness, but if you do that, then you could wrap the rest of your GK into a big Fast Attack unit. This is going to require you field another IST unit, which isnt going to be too hard. If you are buying Kasrkins, you'll just need to bring the size of the squads down to about 8. The unit with Plasma guns could stay back and give supporting fire to the Purgation unit. If you go this way, it might be helpful to get an Inquisitor with a Firestorm retinue, look it up in the DH section on the GW website.
Anyways, only way for DH to deal with armor in long range is to induct some Imperial Guard infantry platoons, with lascannons or missile launchers. Nothing in the GK army can deal with armour at range other than a Land Raider and the Dreadnaught.

Also, if the tough 3 army you are facing is tau, then you definately should drop the LR. Being part tau, nothing makes me happier than seeing a L.R. on the board because I just know a Railgun is taking it out first turn.

I'd go with a Land Raider, simply because of what the above post said, GK have a hard time with armor at long range. Then go with CC for the dred. But, if your going against orcs or tyranid, LRC will most likely be much more effective.

The only 2 things i would change on that list would be only 1 Psycannon on each list, and the LRC into a LR, which is what i use often
