This is my list for the up coming escalation league. I need to refine it with your help. I'll be facing Tau, SM, other Nids, and Necron.

As you see I have 79 pts to play with. Please be critical as this is my first time playing nids. Thank you for any of your input. I need to hit 500pts and I'm stuck. Anything you can do to help me hit 500pts plus make the army better will be very important. Thank you

I'd say the Gargoyles are worth it for their speed and nuisance factor.
You only have 2 Tyranid warriors? Why don't you add a third? Or take a Ravener or two?
I'd say take some Genestealers, but maybe you can't afford it points-wise. In a small game they suit the "patrol" theme because they operate well without the hive node and they can infiltrate. AND they can hold their own in CC against infantry or vehicles!!!

try to squeese 10 gargoyles in and you ll have a fast and dealy army there
I'm not sure you can only have 2 warriors. Anyway, I'd suggest buying another warrior with a venom cannon to help with the range issue or like has been said, some gargoyles.
The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others. They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!
Warriors: Do the Escalation rules allow You to break Codex rules on unit minimum size and biomorphs? Essentially:
1. Warriors must be fielded in certain size broods, and even if these two were in the same, that still wouldn't be enough.
2. Since they should be the same brood, they must have identical Biomorphs.
Of course, if Escalation allows You to ignore the minimum size for units, then this is not a problem.
Gaunts, SFist: Wouldn't spend points on AdrG I for these... Spinegaunts are at their best when as cheap as possible. Then again, AdrG makes them potentially a bit more lethal in CC... Which could be good, but not the point of Spinegaunts IMO. ^_^;
Gaunts, Leaping: Looking pretty good.
Meeting 500pts: Easy, the first thing to do is make the Warrior brood legal, taking up a hefty part of that remaining 79pts. Rest of the points can't really be used anywehere else except to increase the sizes of the Gaunt broods.
